Hi Site Members and thanks for your support!
Did those of you in the US have a great Thanksgiving? We skipped the turkey this year and had Korean food instead.
Say, did you order a print version of my book and not receive it yet? đ
FYI a good friend living in Texas just got the message shown below from Amazon (Note: He pre-ordered Float the Boat on November 4; I think he ordered the hardcover). My own order of hardcovers won't arrive to Korea before 12/29/23 and as late as 1/9/2024! Selling hardcovers is a Beta project for Amazon, meaning it's a new publishing option and may still have some kinks . . .
Also, several folks have attempted to order the paperback from Amazon but received the message "Temporarily Out of Stock". I also received that message once. Minutes later I didn't get the message. Being out of stock seems normal, but Amazon uses something called "Print On Demand". đ¤ The operative word is "Temporary" which is another way of saying, "Soon we'll have stock" or "Soon we'll place an order for new stock." Or so I think.
I'm waiting to hear from Amazon about both issues.

Regarding my website update:
At the bottom of the Home Page and Books Page, I added a "Universal Link". Click on it and you'll see all the non-Amazon sellers around the world who are selling my book. Most are in English-speaking countries. If you're on a trip to Spain or New Zealand and you misplace your copy, no problem! Just order another and have it delievered to your hotel!
I also added a Maps page. I did this because the maps in my print books might be too small to see very well. Ooops! I failed again! Yippee! đđžđ¤Łđ
How I failed with my Maps is a great story and I'll tell you more about it in another post coming soon . . .
